For Students: Exploring Careers

  • Your advisor or coach invites you by email or with a connect code. Open the link, confirm you are 13 or older, and create your account.
  • Swipe through career cards. Click right to Like a career, left to Pass, or tap Maybe to save it for later.
  • Scroll down a card to see salary data, education paths, and daily duties.
  • Add a note on any career. Notes stay private until you choose to share them with your advisor.
  • Every exploration earns XP and unlocks avatar perks as you discover what fits you.

For Advisors and Coaches: Getting Started

  • Log in and open your Advisor Dashboard from the header.
  • Click Invite Students to send a student an email invitation or share your connect code.
  • Students connect in one click. Their exploration activity appears in your dashboard as they explore.
  • Open a student to review likes, maybes, shared notes, and career interests before your next session.
  • Set your practice name, role, and how students should address you under Practice Settings.

For Advisors: Students and Reports

  • To remove a student, open the Invitations tab in your dashboard and select Remove next to their name. Their notes return to private and nothing in their account is deleted.
  • Open a student and go to the Reports tab to send a parent report now or on a weekly, monthly, or yearly schedule.
  • Reports go to the parent email you saved for each student and summarize exploration, top interests, and recent shifts.
  • Click Upgrade in your dashboard to see plans that add your practice name and logo to student experiences and parent reports.

For Parents and Families

  • Join the waitlist on the For Families page to get updates and early access.
  • When your student works with an advisor, the advisor can send you a report of what your student explored.
  • Reports summarize careers explored, top interests, and what changed since the last report.
  • Your student controls what they share. Personal notes stay private unless your student chooses to share them.

  • futureXP is designed for users 13 and older.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties without your consent.
  • You can request account deletion at any time by contacting support at hello@myfuturexp.com.
